The Howick Santa Parade Family Day Out commences with free entertainment at 11am.
There is a main stage outside the Good Home Pub (on Picton Street), which is where you will find dance groups, cultural performances, magic shows plus much more. Picton Street will also have exciting roaming entertainment and other activities such as face painting.
Uxbridge Road – The top part of Uxbridge Road has our Classic Car Show.
The Rotunda at Uxbridge Road has the Official Santa Parade Photo Booth.
Moore Street is closed with our Eat Moore Street and entertainment zone. The street will be lined with delicious food trucks, with plenty of chairs and tables available to enjoy your meal. You’ll find a bouncy castle, Hot Rod Show, Live Music, plus much more.
On the corner of Picton and Wellington Street you will find our Kids Zone with fun rides and activities, as well as some more delicious food options.
In Fencible Park you will discover the Family Zone with more bouncy castles, food options and entertainment.
The Santa Parade kicks off at 1:30pm sharp, and roughly goes for 1 hour.
There are public toilets located on Moore Street (opposite Dominos), Next to the Howick Information Centre (Next to Plunket on Picton Street). There are also Portaloos located at the top of Parkhill Road and also in the bottom carpark off Fencilbe Drive.

The Parade commences at 1:30pm sharp, and roughly takes 1 hour. The Parade Floats start from Fencible Drive (By Swim Gym), it progresses up Wellington Street, down Picton Street, around to Cook Street, then back through to Fencible Drive where the floats finish and start to pack down and move on.
There are all sorts of fun things to do before the parade starts at 1:30pm! Watch our pre-parade entertainment outside The Good Home (on Picton Street), or have a walk up Uxbridge Road where you’ll find our Classic Car Show. On Moore Street, you’ll find our ‘Eat Moore Street’, where you can find incredible food options, Live Music and Hot Rods!
As the Howick Santa Parade is run 100% by The Howick Children’s Charitable Trust, all collections and donations on the day are put back into the trust to ensure we can continue to put events like this on for our community.
All donations help us continue to offer a great day out. You can donate to any of our 40 bucket collectors, or you can choose to donate through our handy tap and go machines located all around the Howick Area.
